Alfonso Pena just in front of the Municipal Park. The market is divided into sections and offers visitors that opportunity to buy anything from slippers, to scarves, earrings, bags, food and more.

  4. Museu de Arte da Pampulha: The museum, which was first a casino, offers a stunning collection of contemporary Brazilian art. The museum features a variety of pieces, in a number of different medias from artists including Oswaldo Goeldi, Fayga Ostrower , Anna Letycia, Antonio Dias, Frans Krajcberg, Ado Malagoli, Iberê Camargo, Tomie Ohtake and Ivan Serpa.

  5. Parque das Mangabeiras: Situated at the bottom of Serra do Currla, Parque das Mangabeiras is one of the largest urban parks in Latin America. On weekends families and friends come to spend quality time with their loved ones and enjoy the serene and lush setting.
